For our immersion project, a classmate and I decided to explore black and white analog photography with a focus on light painting. Combining the unpredictability of film with the creative possibilities of long exposure and movement, we experimented with different light sources to create unique and dynamic images. The contrast between light and shadow became even more pronounced in black and white, emphasizing shapes, textures, and patterns in a way that felt both artistic and experimental. This project allowed us to push our creativity while also deepening our understanding of exposure, composition, and the technical aspects of analog photography.
