We had the opportunity to learn more about lighting and food photography when photographer Kine Bakke visited our class. She shared valuable insights on how to use light to enhance textures, colors, and the overall appeal of food in images. For our assignment, each group had to choose one raw ingredient, one drink, and one finished product to photograph. My group decided on berries, hot cocoa, and chocolate mousse. Through careful composition and lighting techniques, we worked to create visually appealing and mouth-watering images. This assignment was a great exercise in attention to detail and styling, giving us a new perspective on food photography.
