The handball match between Elverum and Follo was the second game we had the chance to photograph, giving us another opportunity to refine our sports photography skills. With the experience from our first match, we were more prepared to capture the fast-paced action, intense moments, and emotions on the court. We experimented with different angles, shutter speeds, and compositions to freeze the movement and tell the story of the game. Each match brought new challenges, but also valuable learning experiences, helping us improve our ability to anticipate and capture the perfect shot.
Our first sports photography experience was capturing a handball match between Elverum and Haslum. It was an exciting challenge, requiring us to react quickly to the fast-paced action while keeping composition, focus, and timing in mind. The intensity of the game, the energy of the crowd, and the speed of the players made it a thrilling subject to photograph. We experimented with different angles and settings to freeze motion and capture the emotion of the match. This was our first opportunity to apply what we had learned in a real sports setting, and it gave us valuable insight into the fast-thinking and technical skills needed for event photography.
